- General Description: Perform manual/visual a Follow approved methods and client specifications to perform all types of visual inspection and segregate and identify those with flaws
and dimensional inspection of molded products to ensure satisfactory quality and compliance with customer requirements. Job involves routine, repetitive checking of production parts and the performance of minor rework/repairs to identified defects. Understand and apply quality tools, statistical techniques, inspection and testing techniques, metrology procedures and protocols.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
- Follow approved methods and client specifications to perform all types of visual inspection and segregate and identify those with flaws.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; inputting data into quality database.
- Processes finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work

- Researches product history when discrepancies occur to find problem.
- Communicates with Internal customers in a professional manner when they have questions about quality.
- Measure products, participates in studies, and provides reports for FAI and Gage R&R work.
- Work with Quality Engineer & Quality Technician on new part projects, supports validations and qualifications.
- Follows methods and processes that meet the regulatory and Customer requirements.
- Provide recommendations based on data and or observations for improvements that are measurable.
- Perform review of any customer returns. Help determine the cause for nonconformance.

- Complete Final Inspection checklists as applicable.
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:

- Operate the DOSS ET4, MicroVu, and Keyence inspection machines
- Completes required work-related documents (dimensional documentation sheets, inspection reports, etc.)
- Reads and understands work process documents (diagrams, blueprints etc.).
- Assists with performing checks or gathering data as part of the internal audits required for the QMS (ISO) Program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Must have above average basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals), language and logic skills.
- Must have good organizational skills, be able to multitask and prioritize work.
- Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, esp. Word and Excel.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, product designs, work process documents, etc.
- Must have high school diploma
